Franco-Vietnamese "Legal Journal" as a source on family-marriage relations in the late colonial Vietnam

Annotation: The purpose of this article is to give a general idea of the source database that can be used to study family problems in different periods of the historical development of Vietnam, and to introduce the readers in more detail to the previously unused in both domestic and Western Vietnamese studies of the Franco-Vietnamese "Legal Journal" (v. - Pháp Viện báo), published in 1931-1932. On the basis of analysis of its content, the article demonstrates how it can be used to study family-marriage relations in the period 1920-1930-ies, and what place it takes among other sources on the family issues in Viet Nam.
