On the ASEAN approach to the problem of territorial disputes and conflicts

Annotation: The article analyzes the approaches of AESAN to the solution of territorial disputes and conflicts, the distinctive feature of which is that the main goal is not to reach the settlement of the causes that gave rise to these problems and the reconciliation of the parties, but to provide conditions under which these disputes could not threaten security and undermine the unity of the ASEAN.
