Annotation: The importance of the railway line Kyzyl – Kuragino, which will pass through the territory of the Republic of Tuva, is of paramount importance for the trade and infrastructure alliance of Russia, Mongolia and China. The three States will benefit enormously from this project, which is conceptually related to the Chinese Silk Road Economic Belt project, which implies a transit corridor for Chinese exports to Europe. Integration of Russia’s eastern territories into Chinese transport networks promises favorable economic prospects for the Russian budget.
