Relations between Russia and Indonesia at the present stage

Annotation: Relations between Russia and Indonesia have a long history of development. In 2020, the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations will be celebrated. The interests of the two countries are focused on economic cooperation projects, at the same time Russia is competing with the United States and other countries of the Asia-Pacific region in building up bilateral relations with this country. The purpose of this study is to consider what promising Russian-Indonesian projects of cooperation are developing between countries at present stage and how they affect the strengthening of bilateral relations.
