The prospects for the Russian-Vietnamese economic cooperation

Annotation: Nowadays the Russian-Vietnamese relations are developing in a trying political environment for both Russia and the Asia -Pacific region. For Moscow under Western sanctions the alternative Eastern direction of its policy is vital. It is an extremely essential task to give concrete content to the “swing to the East strategy” announced by the leadership of the country several years ago. In the framework of this policy one can sort out several directions with one of the most important of them being Vietnamese.
