Annotation: The financial history of the loan capital market could not be examined separately from economic history, from the history of economic thought. The wider world financial markets become the more chances for earnings they give to financially experienced people in different countries. The author follows the establishing of Singapore’s financial system and the formation of “the Asian dollar” market.
