Annotation: Vlasov N. writes about Chinese-Thai relations today. He observes the development of diplomatic relations between the two countries. At the first stage China was seeking to widen the zone of its influence. He believes that after 35 years of China still considers Thailand as important partner. Today China is the second largest trade partner of Thailand. According to the Declaration of 1999 the status of bilateral relations is strategic partnership.
