Annotation: The behavior of the Chinese administration in connection with the problem of the islands and water territories in the East-China and South-China Seas is an important indicator of the Chinese leadership readiness to reach its goals on the international arena with the use of arms. It could also give the answer to the question would the consolidation of China’s geo-strategic position be accompanied with its more aggressive foreign policy.
