What Impels China to Escalate the Conflict in the South China sea

Annotation: Today the South China Sea in the vicinity of Paracel Islands is overcrowded with patrol ships of Vietnam and China. In this tense situation, there is a constant danger that at any moment arms could be used. The situation in Vietnam is also uneasy. The people are outraged with China’s aggressive activity of deploying without any coordination their drilling rig in Vietnam exclusive economic zone, on its continental shelf. One can see in these events deep meaning connected with general architecture of international relations in the region.
