The Military Strengthen their Power in Thailand

Annotation: The author analyses the political situation after the military coup d'etat that results in restoration of the power of traditional political elite and deprivation of achievement of democracy. Appreciating the changes in the stricture of political governance of the Thailand the author comes to the conclusion about the establishment of the authoritarian regime in the country. The author proposes possible scenarios of political development of Thailand taking into account the existing political spectrum.
