Traditional Bali in the modern world

Annotation: The article analyses modern conditions of the traditional Balibese society, preservation of a great role of such social institutions as neighbor communities "banjar" and "desa" as well as an association based on the joint usage of water for the irrigation purposes - "subak" in it. A great role of the leading in Bali religion, that is indiums in the everyday life of its inhabitants and their dependency on a necessity of fulfilling of numerous religious orders as well as the preservation of its world outlook by a secluded ethnic group "Bali-Aga" are shown.
