Annotation: The first stage of Vietnamese training in Soviet universities was their studies at the educational centers of the Comintern in 1924-1938. The studies of young patriots from colonial Indochina became an important milestone in the preparation of a new formation of national political figures for their country.
After the establishment of diplomatic relations between the USSR and the DRV on January 30, 1950, the next stage of cooperation in the field of education began, representatives of Vietnamese youth began to study in Moscow. The first group of students from the DRV came to the Soviet Union in Moscow in the autumn of 1951 at the height of the war of Resistance against the French colonialists.
On October 3, 1954, at the request of the Government of the DRV, a large group of Vietnamese schoolchildren – 100 boys and girls - came to Moscow to study. During the years spent in the Soviet Union, Vietnamese children were provided with all the necessary conditions for living and studying. After graduating from boarding school in 1960, many of them continued their education in various educational institutions of the Soviet Union. After returning to their homeland, they successfully used their knowledge to build a socialist Vietnam.
