The ASEAN-Centric Dialogue Formats and the Evolution of Maritime Territorial Disputes in Northeast Asia: the Greater Eurasia Dimension

Annotation: The article outlines the influence of ASEAN-centric multilateral dialogue frameworks on security issues – ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting (ADMM) + 8 and East Asia Summit (EAS) upon the mitigating of contradictions over the maritime territorial disputes in Northeast Asia in the context of the Greater Eurasia project. The directions and mechanisms of this coordination are identified, practical suggestions aimed at turning the necessary steps into reality and increasing their feedback are offered.
