Annotation: The article gives an analytical review of materials by Vietnamese authors on the problem of the South China Sea territorial disputes. General characteristic of respective analytical articles in Vietnam is followed by a review of a relevant literature divided into three parts according to the content: international law, environmental aspects and the South China Sea issue in bilateral and multilateral relations of parties concerned.
