Annotation: Singapore is an example of the successful and rapid development of "point" zones of industrial production focused on the export goods. The uniqueness of Singapore's free economic zones comes from the peculiarities of the state's economic development, conditioned by the geographic location of the city-state, with almost complete lack of mineral resources, and is embodied in a special style of state administration that was formed under the influence of three ethnic and religious communities: Chinese, Malay and Indian. However, the most important feature of Singapore's free economic zones is their activity in the conditions of the innovative economy.

Keywords: Singapore, free economic zones, state administration, innovative economy
