The role of the third parties in the Australia's political system evolution: the Democratic Labor Party

Annotation: The article is devoted to one of the small parties of the Commonwealth of Australia – the Democratic Labor Party (DLP), which had a significant impact on the balance of power in the Federal Parliament in 1957-1974 and traditionally was considered the mouthpiece of right-wing views. At the end of the XX century DLP was revived, but its representatives’ attempt to repeat the success of their predecessors has not come to fruition yet.
