China Overtaking the US in Relations with ASEAN

Annotation: Today the relations between China and the ASEAN countries have entered a new phase of development, which is characterized by the fact that China has put forward new extremely attractive proposals for cooperation. If we assume that all these projects and programs will be adopted by ASEAN countries and implemented jointly with China, it will inevitably create a new reality in South-East Asia. In fact, this region will no longer be a free trade zone with China, but rather a zone of expanded Chinese economy connected with China by logistics and infrastructure flows, innovative projects, trade and investment capital, as well as critical dependence in the sphere of international politics.
