Geopolitical Code and Vietnam’s National Interests – 21st Century

Annotation: Nowadays a geopolitical process is underway which may be called the regionalization of the world. The analysis of the Vietnam’s domestic and foreign policies let us assume that adherence to the geopolitical code is the central line of Vietnam’s policy in the 21st century as it, on the one hand, makes it possible to solve home problems and, on the other hand, contributes to dealing with foreign issues. It is essential to point out that the notion of geopolitical code presumes the difference between state and national interests. The former means the sovereignty of Vietnam and the latter - the united nation. The notion involves the policy of renaissance of traditional spiritual values, which turns out to be the main theoretical issue of the Vietnamese authorities’ modern geopolitical doctrine.
