On the Formation of Higher Education in Vietnam

Annotation: This article is devoted to the history of the modern system of higher education in the SRV which has passed several stages and reforms. The author concludes that all the reforms of higher education in the SRV, since 1950, were aimed at the formation and improvement of the national Vietnamese system of higher and vocational education in the country. This system subsequently (since the mid-1990s) made it possible for the SRV to move to the latest standards of higher education, based on the application of the so-called. "Bologna system" of higher education.
