U.S. – China Trade Conflict and Southeast Asian Countries

Annotation: Assessing the impact that the U.S.-China conflict had on the development of the external economic sphere of the Southeast Asian countries in 2018 – the first half of 2019, it can be argued that it was contradictory. The conflict had the greatest negative impact on Singapore's economy, primarily due to its high dependence on foreign economic relations in general and with China in particular. It is obvious that the conflict has brought the main benefits to Vietnam, where the bulk of foreign investors who decided to move their production facilities from China to other countries dashed for. The benefits of other states in the region as a result of this process are not yet so apparent.
