The U.S. - China trade war: the reaction of Singapore

Annotation: The article analyzes the position of the official circles of Singapore in relation to the trade war between the United States and China, which increasingly goes beyond the confrontation between the two superpowers, affecting the countries involved in the global system of economic relations, including Singapore. While expressing concern about the growing tension in trade relations between the US and China, the Singapore authorities state the need to overcome the negative consequences of this conflict, pointing to the need for transformation of the Singapore economy, primarily associated with changes in technology.
