"Golden triangle": a brief history and our days

Annotation: The article briefly describes the recent history of the "Golden triangle" – a region without clear borders, partially capturing the territory of Myanmar, Thailand and Laos, which in the second half of the 20th century became one of the main centers of the world drug production and still retains this sad title. There are also suggestions about its near future.
