Annotation: The opponents of Joko Widodo and his coalition appealed against his victory to the Constitutional Court. The decision of the Court which declined the appeal was met with attempts of mass riots, but it did not create serious threat for the stability in the country. Further the leaders of the parties which previously opposed Joko Widodo showed willingness to cooperate with the winners and participate in the new cabinet. Radical Islamist remained uncompromising.
