Annotation: In the context of the global transformation that is taking place today in the vast space of Asia-Pacific and Asia-Pacific, many Asian countries face the problem of choosing the path of political orientation. In conditions of obvious political turbulence, when the contradictions between the major regional powers - the US and China are becoming increasingly tense, and the scope of their confrontation is expanding, the domestic and foreign policy of most Asian countries are also extremely dependent on these external conditions. This is especially true of some key states, which are becoming a kind of "reference" points, symbolic centers that reflect the course of this struggle. One of these key countries is Vietnam – the area of a fierce struggle between Beijing and Washington.
