Annotation: The article deals with the process of formation and development of the innovation system in Singapore. The peculiarity of the innovation strategy is that the policy of introducing the latest technologies was carried out under strict state control. Funding was provided by the state at the expense of the material resources that came to the country's budget from the revenues of the nine free economic zones operating in it. As the countries of the world community emerge from the global crisis, the role of Singapore as an intermediary in the field of innovative communications is of particular importance.
