Russia and Papua New Guinea in the Light of the New Policy of the Island State – Prospects for Cooperation

Annotation: Papua New Guinea is a unique country in many ways. In addition to its advantageous geographical location, the country is extremely rich in natural resources such as gold, silver, copper, gas, oil, nickel, etc. The article gives a brief overview of the economy of Papua New Guinea, the policy of the new PNG’s Prime Minister James Marape and the prospects of Russia’s participation in PNG’s business projects.
