Socio-economic specifics of the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 in Singapore: problems and solutions

Annotation: The article analyzes the specificity of the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 in Singapore, characterized by a clear predominance of infections among migrant workers. The author provides official statistics, and also examines the main government measures taken to solve this problem. Particular attention is paid to the issue of xenophobia prevailing in Singaporean society towards foreign workers, as well as the opinions of government officials and scientists from Singapore on these issues.
