Annotation: Vietnam, a country of the Confucian cultural area, the sensual side of relations has traditionally not been exposed. Female beauty has not received much attention in fiction, let alone state historical publications. Often the use of this concept had a negative connotation, and the beauties themselves had a hard lot. Fundamental shifts in social thought and social life in Vietnam in the 20th century reflected in the perception of beauty and the ability of women to realize themselves through their appearance, a striking manifestation of which was the scale of various beauty contests held in the country.
