Annotation: The article provides an overview of the 13th scientific inter-institutional conference with the participation of foreign speakers, dedicated to the study of the Russian diaspora in the countries of the East, which was held in a mixed format at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences on May 18, 2022. The conference was organized by the Laboratory for the Study of the Russian Diaspora in the Countries of the East, Center for Southeast Asia, Australia and Oceania, Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences.
