Annotation: The article deals with the current state of the fuel and energy complex of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The principal purpose of this article is to conduct detail assessment in the field of the oil and gas as well as electricity industries of the Sultanate in order to develop practical recommendations for the concerned Russian state authorities working in the oil and gas sector. The relevance of this study is due to the current global transformations of the geo-economics’ landscape and the need to reorient export logistics chains of the Russian energy resources and technologies eastwards.
