Freemasonry in Australia and New Zealand: A Brief Study

Annotation: This article gives a brief history of the Freemasons in Australia and New Zealand. In XVIII-XIX centuries this social movement was a notable part of life of the British top and middle classes and it predictably spread in all the British colonies. As always and everywhere, activities of the Freemasons in Australia and New Zealand are accompanied with ominous rumors, but there is no suitable evidence of crucial influence of Freemasons on some important historical events in these countries.
