Annotation: The article is devoted to the latest trends in the development of Australian-Chinese relations, including the Chinese policy of the new Labor administration of Anthony Albanese. China at the turn of the 20th-21st centuries has undoubtedly become one of the key participants in the system of international relations, as well as an important player on the "Asian chessboard". In the context of the growing confrontation between China and the United States in the Asia-Pacific region, the attempts of the main "hawks" of world politics to create a new region - the Indo-Pacific Region (IPR), to equip Australia with nuclear submarines within the framework of the AUKUS strategic partnership, there can therefore be no doubt that the research topic is relevance. The article examines the evolution of the Australian vector in the foreign policy of the PRC, the reasons that led to the cooling of the Australian-Chinese relations and new trends in the interaction between the two countries.
