Annotation: In India, as in Vietnam, the ruler was attributed a magical influence on the forces of fertility, and some ethnographic and mythological ideas were common. The Indian classification of written literature resembles the Chinese and Vietnamese classifications. The impact of Indian literature on Vietnamese folklore and traditional collections of short stories is noticeable at the level of borrowing the plot, motive. Buddhism introduced into Vietnamese culture a significant number of Indian ideas and legends, clothed in Buddhist clothes.
