Annotation: This paper analyses the realisation of humanitarian policies by the European Union in Oceania in 2020–2023. The author studies the EU anti-COVID-19 initiatives in the region, as well as other activities, non-related to healthcare. The key characteristic features of the European policy are being discussed, together with the results of it for the parties involved. The EU course is being explained in terms of its new Indo-Pacific strategy, adopted in 2021. Furthermore, the neocolonial context of the European policy is displayed.
