Annotation: Considerable problems still remain in human rights maintenance, especially in the regions and as far as investigation of hard human rights violation during the military regime is concerned. Although the law limited the political role of the armed forces, in reality the army still enjoys quite considerable independent political functions, both in central organs and in the regions, as well as very high level of trust of the people. Just opposite is the situation with political parties and parliament: they are the lowest as far as trust level is concerned. The corruption problem remains sharp both in the centre and the regions.
