Annotation: Contemporary ceramic art in Singapore is experiencing its heyday. More and more artists and collectors from all over the world are turning their interest to ceramic art works created by masters from Singapore. At the same time, ceramic art of modern Singapore remains almost unexplored. The article examines contemporary ceramic art in Singapore, the works of famous masters, emerging artists, the main modern trends of this direction of contemporary art and possible development prospects. It is concluded that even though Singaporean masters use and invent the latest materials and technologies to produce ceramic products, the forms of the products themselves, their color range and artistic execution remain quite traditional.
