Strategic Plans and Perspectives of Science and Technology Development in Malaysia

Annotation: Today, Malaysia is on the threshold of great changes - innovations that unite the physical, digital and biological worlds penetrate all spheres of life, economy and society. Malaysia is actively developing an innovative economy based on knowledge, which is changing the socio-economic landscape of the country. Science and technology policy is aimed at stimulating innovation, supporting research and development. Innovative clusters and incubators are created, investments are attracted to high-tech industries. International cooperation plays an important role: joint scientific projects and programs. To integrate education and science, scientific and educational centers are created, uniting universities and research institutes. Joint educational programs are being developed. The article provides an overview of key documents in the field of scientific and technological development of Malaysia: strategic plans, industry policies, roadmaps and other important materials.
