Trade and Economic Cooperation between Russia and Malaysia at the Present Stage: Development Dynamics and Promising Areas

Annotation: In recent years the interaction between Russia and Malaysia has significantly intensified - trade turnover has increased; a lot of events have been held regularly in order to establish direct contacts between businesses of the two countries. And some significant agreements have been signed last year at the meetings of the Russia and Malaysia ministries and departments’ representatives to contribute to the further expansion of fruitful interaction. What areas for mutually beneficial cooperation are the most promising currently? The article presents the most successful joint projects in the field of industrial cooperation as well as the structure and dynamics of trade turnover between the two countries in recent years. In addition, the most promising areas of cooperation between Russia and Malaysia with a real breakthrough occurred has identified.
