Indonesia after General Election (Part 1.)

Annotation: The article describes the results of presidential and parliament election in Indonesia in 2024, the set of problems faced by the new “Red and White Coalition” and the new government and the program of the new President Prabowo Subianto. He declared that the opposition institution is against Indonesian national tradition and demanded to limit unproductive expenses, to raise the peoples welfare and to strengthen national defense capacity. The amendments to the 2004 Law on the National Army status broadened the number of civil departments permitted to use the officers on active service, significantly raising the role of the Army as political institution.
