The Cooperation between China and Indonesia within the Framework of the Belt and Road Initiative

Annotation: The article examines the key drivers, significance, and directions of cooperation between China and Indonesia within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the difficulties of its implementation. The research methods include critical document analysis. The main hypothesis is that despite the desire of Indonesia's leadership to transform the country from a raw material exporter into a producer of high value-added goods, this will be extremely difficult without infrastructure development, particularly within the framework of the BRI.
