Annotation: Great changes have taken place in the higher education system of Australia. In addition, the important factor is the transformation of this sector in the mass system of higher education. At present the continuation of information technologies revolution and the necessity in the continuous education exercises deep influence on teaching and investigations character. Over the last two decades the government of Australia prepared the number of political documents and reports on the system of higher education reforming. The government proposed integrated structure on the higher education policy. The policy founds on the four basic principles: stability, quality, fairness and diversity. Under the modern conditions of XXI century Australia will be the education society. Higher education plays the significant role for this purpose realization. The main purpose of the reform fulfillment is the creation of inclusive, flexible and prepared for the future higher education system in the country. The government gives a grant attention to the researching in the higher education system. The Australian researcher discovery improves the quality and standards of living of the population and contributes to the economic development of the country.
