China's Priority Areas of Cooperation in APEC: History and Present

Annotation: The article examines the evolution and current state of China's cooperation within APEC. The relevance of this topic stems from China's growing role as a key player in the forum and its contribution to shaping the regional economic order. The paper examines key areas of cooperation: economic integration, digital transformation, technological development, and institution building. Particular attention is paid to analyzing China's current policy priorities in APEC, including promoting the principles of openness, inclusive development, and multilateral cooperation. The study demonstrates how, starting from a period of adaptation, China has become a systemically important factor in the forum's development, actively promoting its own initiatives and shaping new standards of regional interaction.
