«The Poem of Kieu» by the poet Nguen Zu and film production in Vietnam

Annotation: The paper explores the interrelation of different types of art on the example of film adaptation of a masterpiece of Vietnamese classical literature «The Poem of Kieu» by the poet Nguen Zu (1765-1820). The film "Kim, Van and Kieu” shot in 1923-1924 by French film makers marked the birth of feature film production in Vietnam.
