Moving Towards an ASEAN Community: Nuances of 2011

Annotation: The year 2011 added new nuances to the process of moving towards an ASEAN Community - the key project the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) is implementing. The way things developed in 2011, to finish the project by 2015 seems to be a very unlikely scenario. In 2015 only a partial realization of the tasks ASEAN previously declared is probable, while the rest of them will be postponed and dealt with in the post-2015 period - although as a different project and under a very lengthy time schedule.
