Stages of integration of ASEAN countries into a single economic community

Annotation: Leanella Arunova in her paper considers the progress in integration of South-East Asia and East Asia. The author underlines the role of ASEAN in this process. The Association with its population of many millions, with its aggregated GDP of almost $ 1.5 billion and growth rates higher than average in the world is the factor of development. Today ASEAN which was set up in 1967 as an instrument of regional dialogue and cooperation is the center of integration in Asia - Pacific region and its role is growing in the world commerce and finances as well as in the management of economic problems. Experience of the countries of the region could be of use for the global economy.
