Annotation: Dr. A. Sokolov analyses in detail the situation in modern Vietnamese cinematograph: including film production, film demonstration, sociologic analyses of audience preferences, and main trends in development of national filmmaking. The author specially emphasizes such new developments as private motion picture studios and participation of Vietnamese émigré film makers in the cinematography of the Social Republic of Vietnam.
