Annotation: Repelling Chinese aggression against Vietnam in February - March 1979 - is an outstanding story in the Soviet-Vietnamese relations. It is then that the might and effectiveness of the Soviet-Vietnamese alliance was proved, that built a barrier to the Chinese aggression under pretext of punishing Hanoi for its intrusion in Cambodia and toppling the regime of Pol Pot.
