Southeast Asian economies after the global crisis

Annotation: The paper explores the situation in Southeast Asian economies 5 years after the onset of global financial crisis. It presents the impact of world powers recession on economic activities in the region, summarizes data on its growth dynamics in 2013-2014 and prospects for 2015-2016. The author discovers main consequences of the crisis in SEA countries and analyzes measures to overcome negative trends by monetary and fiscal policy instruments. He gives special attention to the objectives and forms of regional integration, and economic associations growing up alongside ASEAN. As general findings there are exposed problems to solve with the aim to achieve the recovery and progress of regional economies.
