Annotation: Speaking of the Chinese aggression against Vietnam in 1979 and on the events in the Spratley Island in 1988 one should emphasize the role of mass media and the psychological climate that prevailed in the world at the time. This is especially important today when information as means of influence on the minds and mood of people is given one of the greatest priority in global policy.
