What Terrorist Attack January 14, 2016, in Jakarta Has Shown?

Annotation: The terrorist attack in the centre of Jakarta was not the first one in independent Indonesia, but now it was instigated by the IS which is positioning itself as a sovereign state having its own territory. Refraining from participation in multilateral actions against IS, the Indonesian government is prepared to exchange information on terrorism. Both analysts and officials in Indonesia acknowledge that mere force is not enough to resist IS which is nourished by social injustice and corruption. The interaction is needed between law enforcing agencies and mainstream Islam organizations to prevent radicalization of the Moslem community.
